Comments:
I had planned a more serious operation, possibly even 15 single band, but the
combination of lousy cndx (worst since 1990) and rogue T-storms was
demotivating. Still no working Top 20 antenna, but hopefully that will be
fixed soon.
For a little perspective, 1990 was MUCH worse! I can remember operating from
K1TTT and not even being able to be heard by EU Big Guns until late Sunday
afternoon when the K Index finally dropped from 9 (the maximum)!
These are minor gripes. Cndx were so sensational during WPXSSB, that if you
could have "averaged" the two weekends, you would have two great contests.
WPXCW is always a fun weekend and it is a an annual reminder of how much I
love cw after 38 years.
