Comments:
Well, I committed to a "full bore effort" and let's say I got pretty close, even
though a hockey game and church took away a little. All I can say is that I am
happy with the score and effort. Mostly all S&P just up and down the bands - a
few short runs. Obviously on 40M and 80M the central northern US is at a
distinct disadvantage over the east and west coast, so these bands I just bided
my time for the DX station to call a few times and then give it a shot -
sometimes it worked, sometimes not. I was happy to work a few JA's at the end.
Also, heard ZL1BYZ on 15M?? don't remember now, tried a few times, said no way
and moved on. There was one dupe, which is why the math does not add up. I
hope the score holds - it could be a pretty good one from W8/SOAB LP. Will be
back and forth to Belgium over the next few months so this may be it for a
while - contest wise. Thanks all. - Karl
