Comments:
Only a part time effort, just too tired to devote the entire weekend to a SSB
contest. Band seemed to be decent, heard and worked some zone 14,15,16, and 20
stations. I think activity was down as I tuned around Friday night, didn't hear
too many big gun stations with sustained runs. The band was crowded however,
with stations all the way up to 1.990. One time I was CQ'ing and someone
popped down on my frequency exclaiming, "could you qsy, you are only 2KHz below
me". I thought that was rather amusing. Since I hadn't been there more than a
few QSOs I moved, but I really think that contesters should realize that 2KHz
is quite a luxury in this contest. Thanks for the Q's and see you down the
log and in the next season.
