Comments:
I was pleased to substantially improve my score over last year. This time I
spent less time chasing intersting multipliers and tried to keep my rate up.
Got one new one, ZC4, and it didn't take a lot of time to get through that
pile.
For some reason, the last couple contests I've had a better time keeping a run
going than in the past. My runs usually die out after 15 minutes or so but in
the wee hours Sunday morning I was able to hold a frequency and run JA's for a
solid hour on 80, even with leaving the frequency a few times for a multiplier.
Nice. Why is this? It may be partly psychological. As I get more experienced I
get more tenacious.
Somebody sure doesn't like N4BAA. There were a lot of obviously phony spots
posted with his call sign. I guess he's really hit a nerve. Good for him! There
are some nerves out there that deserve a severe tweaking. We all know who you
are. We put up with you in every pileup.
