It was the best of times, it was...
Couldn't decide if I was into this one or not, unsettled week at work didn't
help.
Had some thoughts of giving the new QRP category a good workout earlier in the
week, but went with LP to ease the pain. Wasted too much time trying to run the
first night, too rigid when I needed to be fluid.
15 was LOUD into EU Sunday and had a decent couple of runs. Some of the Eastern
EU signals were 4 KHz wide here, which didn't help with the large turnout.
Missed any major 10M opening, but was happy to find a few SA stations with
decent signals.
Guess there were more than a few new SO2R operators judging by the long lag
times on some QSOs, moved on to the next player more than once.
Still, my best score yet in this event, just took a lot more work than last
year.
