Comments:
Well, that was fun. That is the first 30 minutes and the last 3 hours. In
between, lost of time for watching paint dry and for sleeping - the later being
a very GOOD thing!
Equipment: K3 at 100W, homebrew Moxon at 30 ft on temporary mast with
Armstrong Rotor and vertical dipole.
Totals were 31 US states, only 4 Canadian Provinces, 6 Mexican States and 15
other countries. Best DX was FO and VK. Nothing even heard from EU, Asia, and
Africa.
Heard Norfolk Is. but no QSO. Absolutely nothing sustained here from the NW
- WA, OR, VE6.
Nice 2.5 hour run at the end to Midwest and SE US saved the bacon for me.
Without that, I would rate this one as a disappointment.
