Wow!
It's funny when my best SOAB score ever makes me totally disappointed.
Few days before the contest I had flu. Running around and traveling, instead
resting in bad with lemon and tea is best way to make a serious health problem.
Cough with pain became unbearable in the Saturday morning. Few times I had to
remove headphones and to drink something hot immediately.
My goals of 7200 Qs+ and 10M were doable, but I just couldn't do it in that
shape.
Some other problems as bad weather with rain and sometimes high static noise
were not that much significant.
Propagation were not extraordinary, but were good. Low Bands were really good.
I do not remember nice USA pileups on 80M as this time. I did not use 2L80, as
it was not possible to be erected on the tower due the very bad weather. But
4SQ behaved very well.
On 10M I did just NR4M for only one USA multiplier. Opening from this side was
only to zone 8/9 and further south. Good point is that all stations were very
loud and easy to be worked.
