This was my first effort at this contest as a single operator, and
the first time I've operated the August contest in several years.
I did the January contest earlier this year, for the first time in
several years. I must be a slow learner, because I still feel very
light on multipliers. I was surprised at how many DX stations from
Europe and Africa called in (all on 20 meters). I worked 5N, DL, EA,
F, G, GM, GW, HB9, I, OM, PA, SP, and UA3.
