Comments:
I had to QRT at 1606Z for salt mine duty, so no big effort. I was able to run
quite a few on 20 including mobiles and a picnic table QRP portable in Routt
Co. once the band finally opened well around 14Z. 6AM is awfully early to start
a QSO party, rethink that? N4CD was the only mobile worked in more than 2
counties, got K0CL in two, thanks guys! Hats off to El Paso County (Colorado
Springs) hams where I visted while on vaction to CO in early Aug (awesome
canyons, Garden of the Gods!) for a really big turnout. Hopefully, next year I
will take part full time.
73,Jeff
