TS-850 to Windom at 45'
I think it was KC8C who used to say "There's no meters like 20 meters." Well,
at 2230 EST there ain't no meters in 20 meters - unless we can convince the
UA0s to get on in the NS. At least this time I had the discipline to move to 40
about 6 minutes in.
I still prefer no-dupes but last night on both 40 and 80 I seemed to get in QSY
synch with a few stations - seemed like every CQ I locked into was someone I had
worked already. Then when I see all the logs from stations I never worked and I
realized that's because I'm probably locking in on the loudest CQs - after the
first few minutes, need to stop doing that.
I'll be in VK-land starting next week and miss both Sprints - I guess I'll be
able to practice until February.
