Comments:
A marked change in conditions...with 20 going flat to most parts of the country,
40 sounding fine, and 80 actually opening up, and coming out of a lot of the
summer noise.
Great to work W2BC and W2LC, both in NY, for the first time in NS. Scott LC is
a regular in the sprints. Welcome aboard BUD and SCOTT!! see you guys next
week!
20 was strange: Normal IL/OH/IN guys were barely there signal wise. I heard
W9RE was on but never heard Mike. Nothing from New England boys... But did work
Jay in FL for a nice surprise, as well as N4ZR in WV, always a new mult.
Everyone seemed to have given up on 20 very very soon, and 40 was jammed after
10 minutes into the NS. Tonite would have been a great nite for 40m single
band!
Usually reluctant to have to go to 80, but it being partially dark out the
window it was a good gamble, and paid off with 5 surrounding mults in the bag,
including VA7ST W7WHY and K7BG in the very last seconds of the last minute for
MT in the log! Once again as always TNX to Team Seattle, W7OM K7RI NN7SS for
the Qs.
Always fun! Congrats to N6RO for a FB score out here on the left coast.
And thanks to the old man K6VVA for the contacts from Locust peak remote.
