Comments:
Why didn't I get in this contest all these past years? It is becoming one of my
favorites because I don't have a major DX contest station but I can do okay in
the domestic ones. I also really enjoy putting a name to a call and the
contest at least for me is a pretty relaxed pace, I enjoy a quick minute rag
chew with an old/new friend. I hope to do many more. Part of the problem I
think is I confused this with the Sprints which I have not tried.
Started usual S&P got to about 65 Q's then found a spot to run on 20 with
the idea to try to get to 100 (my normal minimum standard) and was able to do
much better. I had one run of 101 @80/hr and second one of 64 @70/hr. I found
that alternating my beam heading from 45 deg to 330 helped bring in contacts
from East and then West.
