Comments:

I was hoping for some short skip but when I turned on the rig at 10:20 and
listened around, all I could hear was a loud N4CW/1 and an S7 K7SS working
someone I could barely hear. Then a pretty strong K6VVA. I knew right away
that this was not going to be a record performance night! The strongest sigs
after the contest got going were again N4CW/1 and W7WHY. I barely heard N3DXX
but never worked him or anyone else in W2 or W3 and only 'BAI and 'AF in W4.
No W8 or W9 whatsoever although I heard a weak K8MR passing out a low number
near the end. None of the TN gang made it into the log and the Minnesota guys
were weak. I managed 6 Q's with W6YK but he was not particulary strong here
and I'm sure I was not strong there either. Still a lot of fun. I'll be
back!

Hal of Dipole Acres getting ready to go mobile in the Ohio QSO Party on 22/23
August.
