Comments:
Noisy bands here tonight and many unanswered CQ's circa 14.038 - still think
some folks are not QSY'ing TWO Khz per the new rules.
When ZF2DO first called me on 20m, I couldn't get the full callsign due to QRM.
Then someone who obviously couldn't hear ZF2 opened up CQ'ing almost dead zero
beat and the same signal strength and it took 5 or so repeat requests to get
the number and name. When I finally copied the name Dave, I wondered if by
chance this might be our NS friend N5DO. Yup, amazing what info one can find
in a QRZ.COM lookup. The 2nd QSO later was QRM free. TNX for your patience in
our 1st QSO, Dave.
A Big CONGRATS to Tom, W7WHY, for finally breaking 1,000 points!!! Tom is a
regular check-in to the post-NS Thursday Night NCCC Net which meets on 3610 @
0300 UTC...like DanWA/K7SS, Rod/W7OM, and usually W0BH who was missed there
tonight. Every NS'er is always welcome, of course.
73 & Tnx for the Q's & Mults...
Rick, K6VVA * The Locust
