Comments:
Big thunderstorms in LA all afternoon and into the night caused havoc with lots
of noise. Had ot ask for numerous repeats. Sorry guys! To make matters worse, I
lost my internet connection a day before and forgot to check at work to see what
was on the NS schedule. So I listened to 20 about 0228 to 0230 and heard
nothing. Went to 40. There was W0BH giving a repot. I hadn't even got the
logging program set, but quicklyhandled that and then it was fun. Started on
40, worked 3 or 4, then listened again on20 and lo and hehold the band was
open. Stayed there a little too long. Went back to 40 and nearly forgot that 80
was also in the contest. Went to 80 with 6 minutes left. Did manage a rough Q
with John at /6Y5. Seems like there were quite a few newbies! yeah.
Til tonight in the WPX.
73.
