Comments:

Talking about complete K'OS, I spent a week getting ready for this contest and I
was sure everything was at it's best. The contest started and I started on time
for a change. Man! was I ever so proud of myself. It look as though everything
was going smooth. I was logging in contact after contact and then I notice I
had logged in atleast 10 contacts but I had no score or points in my writelog
score window. In a dying situation I did the manly things. I pulled out that
one string of hair on the side of my head (DON'T TRY THAT FELLOWS IT DON"T HELP
AND NOW IM COMPLETELY BLAD). I had to start over and over again losing contacts
each time until I got the scroe broad working. The problem was I've forgot to
set a radio port for the FT 1000MP MARK V. Not good for some one who strated on
time (ouch!). Writelog will not calculate or save your score if you do not
assign it a radio port. The moral of the this story is, It's aways good to
check and test your eq with another ham before the contest start. All and all I
lost about 20 QSOs and had a great time.
