Comments:
Used my new MA160V (Cushcraft) for the first time in a contest. Yhe first night
was not bad at all with the bulk of the stations worked (306) The second evening
I worked 100 more (painfully slow)and Sunday evening another 7 (slower still).
Sure slowed down quick. Considering my real low power, I was quite pleased
with the results.
Heard NH6P (but worked KH6U) and ZL6QH quite well. Actually heard several
others which I did not call like 5A7A, 8P5A, TZ5A. 5A7A was quite good copy
all 3 nights but having already worked them, I just sat back and listened.
Never so much as got a QRZ from CU2A,TI5N and V26K and they were loud.
Spent time on all the bands but to be honest I did not hunt mult's. Just took
them as they came and was happy to provide points. Actually worked several on
all 6 bands.
Thanks to all that called. 73 Andy (VE9DX)
