I set the usual goal of 200 minimum Q's. I had presence of mind to set up the
80M vertical dipole before I started a massive yard clean-up on Saturday. The
ropes were already in the trees so this went quickly. This at least gave me
some low band capability so I could play at night.
Daytime was spent doing yard work (ha, a clean sweep of the yard, 32 bags!).
Saturday night we had the annual Halloween party at K1TWFs, so that put a crimp
in operating Saturday evening. Made a few contacts Sunday morning. Got back to
the radio about 6:00 PM Sunday evening swept the bands starting on 15M and
worked my way down to 80M. This set up a nice run to close out the test.
One of these years it will rain on this weekend and I'll do a more serious
effort here.
