Comments:
Operated for first 2 hours and last 3 hours, since we had my sons 7th birthday
party in the late afternoon. Seemed like participation was a bit off to me, as
times the bands sounded "sparse".
Highlights: Good to work HI/AK in the last 20 minutes of the contest on 40.
Good second hour on 20 (130). No VE5s, VE8s (all varieties), ND, SD, RI, or WY
(KO7X where are you?). 15 was descent early on, but I never heard anything on
10. Lots of static late due to storms nearby - even 40 got a bit noisy here.
Was asked by several to QSY to 160, but I have to replace a coax run for my 160
antenna, so "no deal". I'll have to fix that for the January QP.
Just having fun without loosing sleep. Tnx to everyone. -Al
