Comments:
This is my first serious contest entry. In the past I've only participated in
contests to pick up new grids on 6M or new countries on HF. I had so much fun
in last year's contest that I decided to put an effort into this one. I
replaced my 5el 6M beam with a 7el M2 (at 35') and put up antennas for 2M, 222,
432 and 1296. I used a 746 for 6M and an FT-736R for 2M through 1296. Since
last year I added amplifiers for 6 and 2m to give about 900-1000W out (single
3cx800 on both bands).
As soon as I rest up for a week or two, I'll start enthusiastically working on
next years station and antenna improvements.
