Comments:
My first Stew contest. I sure enjoyed the meaningful exchange. My noise floor
was up 20 db from an ailing substation under heavy winter loads about a mile
from my station. My 8 element circular RX array was not at its best performance
to JA probably because the Hi Z amps were buried in about a foot of snow. I knew
there was a whole layer of weaker stations I could not pull out of the power
line noise. Had loud signals from Herb KV4FZ, PJ2, KH6,and a couple JA. Long
live the Beverage antenna! I should have been around for the sunrise but had
been without sleep the night before so lights out at 3:00 am local.. Thanks to
everyone for a lot of fun.. Lee
