Comments:
As usual (lately), I am totally unprepared prior to the contest. Did two
straight days of tower/antenna work (not on 160) immediatley prior to the
contest. I ended up (again) just hanging a 1/2 dipole from "low" on the tower
(around 45 feet) and the ends of the dipole were about six feet the ground as
the sun set Friday night (local time). Seemed to work good enough to have lots
of fun.
Due to being 54 and totally out of shape (desk job), I fell asleep each night
around 2 or 2:30pm local (ugh). Oh well. Never worked K5CM or N5OT despite
tons of calling, so missed OK (which is not okay). de Doug KR2Q
