Comments:
You think rover operation might have been on in the Northeast this weekend? :-)
Looked like a good weekend to stay home and keep the shack warm. It was pretty
wet out here and the mountaintoppers all reportedly got wet, but they didn't
have to shovel their way up and down.
We had a "nice" day on Friday, so I got busy and put up a new 2-meter homebrew
yagi (8-element model out of L.B. Cebik W4RNL's collection of OWA yagis) which
amazed me by working as advertised. Nice design, LB! My construction technique
for the DE is, um, deficient. Nevertheless, good value for a four-hour project
from start to finish, including the mounting. If I'd had a bit more time, a 432
version would also have appeared on the mast - next time!
73, Ward N0AX
