Comments:
Never did hear the NE part of the country, with the exception of W3GH calling
someone once. Probably would have, if I hadn't fallen asleep on the desk at 1
AM. Forgot my operating aid Nr. 7, COFFEE! First time doing this at home with a
real antenna. (Years of loading the coax of the 40 sloper and struggling to
work Texas and Colorado, finally succumbed to a new 300ft loop up in the big
tree!) One can only imagine the myriad of signals underneath ones local
noises..and looking at the scores reported indicates I was only hearing the
top layers. Next year a listening loop, Mr Alpha, and French Roast will join in.
GOOD FUN!
