N1MM Logger V3.0.185

For my "Coupe Du Ref" jubilee (1984-2004), I decided to go back to the basics:
SO and barefoot - no network, SO2R, cluster and PA to worry about... Instant
band changes and full QSK.
On 40 and 80, I did no see a big difference: K3ZO still in the first logged
QSO's after start or band change... been called by FM5CW and VK8AV on 40, where
I also easily worked FY5FY (vy strong, by the way) - On both bands I managed
to keep my CQ frequency most of the time, and even got quite good peak rates.
In this contest, LP is definitely harder on high bands, where most of
multipliers are worked on backscatter; even if I managed to work 95% of heard
departments on 20m, I could only work a couple of big guns on 15m, and K3ZO,
RK4FF (only 5-banders) + a few local stations on 10m (only hrd F6CTT as
non-local F, but no way!)- No need to say that I never managed to get a
sustained run, on the high bands (except the first 15mn on 20m).
In general Saturday has been fun, and Sunday extremely boring with only 300
QSO's , 50 mults and a lot of dupers for the last 12 hours... (was at 900/300
when I went to bed after 16 hours of tfc).
N1MM logger has performed quite OK, and without crash - Just that it would
require a more recent machine (or at least more RAM than the 32MB of my PII
laptop), because software latency starts to become a bit annoying after a couple
of hundred QSO's...
04,32,42,43 and 55 remain the "virgin" departments + this year 00,61 and 48.
CU soon on the bands and long life to CW. Patrick
