It was a real pleasure to do this test with decent antennas, instead of the low
G5RV at my home QTH. Thanks to Bill N5YA for the use of his FB station.
Rig IC756Pro2 to AL1500
Antenna: 1/2 wave wire vertical with elevated radials + Beverages
No EU from here, but worked 2 JAs, 1 VK, 1 ZL, and 1 KH6 -- Best DX VK3IO.
Could not manage to stay awake -- crashed from 1AM to 4:30AM local time
(probably during opening to EU). Six cans of Mountain Dew did not provide
sufficient caffiene.
