"Holiday Weekend in the Pacific Northwest"
No pressure this weekend - some family & friends, spiced up Egg Nog,
slippers and a few hours of tuning the ole 930, at the Foggy Northwest
Beach House.
The vertical enjoyed a fresh salt water bath when the high tide rolled in... no
problems though, I just waded out to the base and slid it up a foot, "yep, seems
dry enough, radial is under water" and back to bay windows.
No real EU to speak of.. a peep here and there working our Caribe friends.
This is only possible because of it's pin-drop quiet QTH status. (except for a
faint spark-sizzle-drone from a distant boat or two).
Highlight this weekend was the late night E skip... it really keeps the boys
perked up.. K7BG and KS7T in MT jumped just above the noise for a quick Q at
1am.
Thanks for the fun! 73 all and HNY ! de KL2A/7
