Comments:

It's amazing what 100 watts and a vertical antenna will do on 10 meters when
it's open. I love this band. Unfortunately it won't keep up for the near
future. Let's hope the ARRL 10M romp sees such good conditions. Managed to
grab most of the "rare" ones on Saturday. On Sunday they were all being barraged
by DX chasers and I wouldn't have had a chance. 5U5Z had a good signal on 10M
most of the time the band was open. Nice to hear a lot of South African
stations also - (conditions?). I had two great runs during the contest - five
miles on Saturday and six miles on sunday. They clear the mind. I'm ready for
the ARRL 10. Thanks to all who heard me. Eldon, W1END
