Comments:
17 hours of fun operating with Pertti's fine antennas
and radios. I slept for six hours and re-wired the station
for an hour on Sunday mng after a relay-failure. Sleeping
was planned. I had one radio to transmit with, and a 2nd
radio for TX/RX on 15, which I lost on sunday mng.
Cndx were ok to the East. For example wkd VK4AN on five bands.
Just one VE on 40, and that was VE7AHA LP on saturday. Some
nice three-four band QSY's: 4X4DX, XU7ACW, VR2BG & KG6DX.
Where were all ER, EU, EY and GW stns? I recall wkng a
dozen of UC2's in the SACs of the 80's.
This was a fine way of getting some practice for the
November Contest. Lot's of catching up to do. Just when the
contest was about to end I was warmed up!
