Comments:
Tnx to Barry, W5GN, for satisfying my last minute urge to operate. His new 70'
tower w/ Opti-Beam tri-bander and Cal-AV 2el 40 worked great. Felt pretty loud
(dipole on 80M) on all bands.
SO1R. 6 band changes. Hours of 86/86/87/100. Heard but did not work KO0U (MO)
and someone from SD (K7RE?).
Did have a computer keying issue at the beginning. Fought it for about 10 Q's
and gave up. Re-configured software and plugged paddle into the keyer, sent the
rest of the contest by hand. Not the best way to start a Sprint! And my
apologies to those who had to suffer while I tried to send a number properly
:-)
Congrats again to Mr. Fisher. I can't even comprehend 400 Q's and now he's done
it again!
And kudos to all those who organized a team - you make those 400 Q's possible.
73,
Jeff N5TJ
