Started a half hour late because I had to finish watching a rental movie with my
wife. Found activity pretty good, with a bunch of mobiles hitting lots of
counties - thanks! Was mystified when I didn't hear W9MSE for quite a while.
Hoped he didn't get into an accident driving those icy roads. Talked to him
after the contest and he said he had rig problems that kept him from activating
a bunch of counties. Also, where was W0AIH?
Pet peeves: Stations not signing after each QSO and mobiles NOT following the
rule of ID'ing with a three letter county suffix, just using /M. I still don't
agree with applying a power multiplier. Ask me for the reasons if you want
them.
Anyway, this was a personal best for me in this contest.
