Great contest! My first serious effort on 160. I made alot of stupid "tactical"
errors because of my lack of knowledge about this band. For example, I didn't
find
the JA's until my time was just about up and I spent way too much time trying
to
run. Live and learn, I guess. Working DX on 160 is no problem at W9JA - got
pretty
much everybody on the first call and the Beverages really play! I figure I
should
have had at least 2K. The low score is due entirely to "operator error" and not
equipment. Many thanks to Paul for the opportunity, encouragement, and
hospitality!
I have observed all competition rules as well as all regulations established
for amateur radio in my country. My report is correct and true to the best
of my knowledge. I agree to be bound by the decisions of the Awards Committee.
