We had planned a semi-serious multiop with big antennas that unfortunately
didn't happen so I decided to load up the 80m dipole and hand out a few q's.
Actually, I was surprised that people heard me at all. Spent a very long time
calling west coast domestic mults and anything outside of NA was out of the
question. Had S7-S9 noise here both nights but my trusty ANC-4 knocked alot of
the
local QRN down to where I could hear reasonably well. Calling CQ wasn't too
productive with my lousy signal but the resulting heat radiating from the
antenna
tuner kept the shack quite comfortable!
I have observed all competition rules as well as all regulations established
for amateur radio in my country. My report is correct and true to the best
of my knowledge. I agree to be bound by the decisions of the Awards Committee.
