* Three-members team: me, my brother Jakub and interpreter (CZ-I) Eva
* Monday: cleaning bunker (my "house" on the coast), connecting power
220V, assembling verticals for 4SQ 40m and 80m, allocation, erection.
* Tuesday: Very strong wind and rain. Four from eight verticals was
down because of thin ropes (3x 40m) and fault anchoring (1x 80m).
Reparation of verticals (new ropes). Assembling Tribander ECO 3el
(made in Italy, very good and robust), Tribander Force12 C3S (6el, 2
for each band), Monobander 6el for 10m (as in SSB). Assembling three
poles 12m. In the evening erection of verticals and preparing shack.
* Wednesday: erecting beams (ECO and 6el 10m), installing rotors,
phasing boxes for 4SQs incl. control, installing elevated radials,
tuning. Installing transmatch to 25m vertical for 160m. Laying cca
300m of coax for three beverages. In the evening were all antennas
(except C3S) prepared and tuned. Preparing shack.
* Thursday: erecting C3S. Testing, trip to city and visit friends.
* Friday: Only day with nice weather - sun, no wind. Relaxing,
checking all anchors, pegs, ropes, ...
Contest:
* Fr 23:00 - starting strong wind from opposite side than during the week
* Fr 23:50 - found problem on 4SQ 80m - short circuit between vertical
and radials, fixed in 10 mins.
* Sa 07:00 - found broken boom-to-mast handle on C3S - antenna was
hanging on the ropes without direction-control
* Sa 20:00 - began whirlwind and rain
* Sa 22:00 - found lost first director and moved (1m) 4th director of 6el 10m
* Sa 24:00 - 3280 Qs made... not so bad...
* Su 05:00 - found bended down pole with 3el tribander. No antenna for 20 and
15m...
* Su 07:00 - found burned PL-259 and the barrel on the cable to 6el
10m. Fixed by cutting PL-259 and connected by terminal block.
* Su 09:00 - re-installing 3el tribander at abt 1m above roof of bunker (strong
wind)
* Su 13:30 - 90 min sleep because of exhaustion
* Su 20:00 - found pulled radials on some verticals of 4SQs
