Oh, what the OO forgot to mention in his card to me is that
he was the net control for the Hallicrafter's net on 14.280
(I was on 14.281 for the previous almost 45 minutes on a
run). He fired up the net without the courtesy of asking me
to vacate the frequency, he didnt even ask if the frequency
was in use.
I dont take kindly to bullies, no matter what his QRO
potential agains my lowly station, so I stuck it out until
he had the foresight to ask me. Then I told him WHEN I was
vacating the frequency, and he didnt like it, since he is
GOD ALMIGHTY. If he had asked me to move BEFORE his net, I
would have. But when someone just thinks that God granted
him the rights to my frequency because the net that they
have has been using it since the days of Maxim, I take
offence. Ask me nicely, and I am glad to move. I have a
VFO just like he does.
Bully me and I will be your worst nightmare.
