Comments:
Best band conditions overall I have experienced in my 1 year of contesting.
Very hard for me to stay focused for more than 6 hours at a setting. I
found this contest very difficult even with the easy exchange. But there
sure were a lot of terrific operators. Worked about 31 hours and only about
5 hours of running. S&P wore me down pretty bad, but ran unassisted which
actually eased the workload somewhat. Highlight was being called by the ITU
HQ station in Geneva and stumbling onto R1AND in the last few minutes and
getting the Q. Lowlight was being invited to QSY from my run frequency
which I had been on for over 2 hours also near the end of the contest. Ahh,
such is life in CQWW. Thanks to the many fine ops that pulled me out of the
mud. You guys are good. Many thanks to CQ for continuing WW tradition.
This is to certify that in the contest I have operated my transmitter
within
the limitations of my license and have observed fully the rules and
regulations of the contest.
